I really do think piplup would of been a huge favourite Pokémon of mine if I watched Pokémon d/p as a kid, due to his role in Pokémon contests. That might be why I picked him on shinning Pearl. Also, as a kid, yes I was a huuuge Barbie fan.

I plan on not evolving my shinning Pearl piplup, though. His evolutions are annoying to me.
